Yes, you can join the virtual symposium without registering again. Those already registered have been contacted by email with options to unsubscribe and get a refund.

Do I get a refund of the fee differences, since the congress isn’t physical anymore?

If you already registered and paid for the physical symposium, you will be eligible for a refund of the difference between what you paid and the new fee.

I do not want to attend the virtual symposium. Can I cancel my registration?

Yes, of course. For cancellations received before June 16th, 2020, a 30 € (EURO) penalty fee will be applied. For cancellations received after June 16th and before July 2nd, 2020, a 90 € (EURO) penalty fee will be applied. After July 2nd, 2020, there will be no refunds.

No, only full symposium registrations are possible.

What do I need in order to attend the virtual symposium?

To attend the virtual symposium, you need a good internet connection, a device with internet connection (computer, laptop, tablet/iPad, smartphone) and a valid registration.

What if my WiFi crashes in the middle of a live discussion?

Do not worry at all. Round tables will recorded and available as soon as the symposium finishes until December 30th, 2020.

Can I download the slides from the sessions?

No, the slides from the session presentations cannot be downloaded, but you will be able to watch the oral presentations where the slides are being shown.

How do I receive my Certificate of Attendance?

After the symposium, if you have met the minimum attendance of 70%, you will receive an email with a link to our CME survey and Certificate of Attendance.

How do I claim my CME credits?

The CME/CPD certificate will be included in the Certificate of Attendance, available after completing the CME survey.

Will the scientific programme change in the 100% virtual symposium?

The content of the scientific programme is the same, but we have changed the structure of the symposium to make it online-attendance friendly. Instead of our classical 4 round tables format lasting 4-hour long each, we propose a more dynamic format with 6 smaller round tables.

Only the 6 live discussions will have a fixed schedule, and you will be able to attend the regular talks of each round table at your own pace before each discussion.
